Fishing Lessons in New Orleans Louisiana


The three-hour class, suitable for beginners and for intermediates who want to improve their fundamentals, will begin with the roll cast and off-shoulder roll cast, followed by the overhead cast and off-shoulder overhead cast. Additional methods and techniques will be covered as time permits. The classes fill up quickly with a minimum of 4 students, so be sure to secure your spot early. (If the min isn't reached we will push the class to another date and will notify you of the change.) Equipment will be provided upon request (If you do not have a rod set up please contact us, limited number provided, based on first come service.)

Participants 4 students per class
Location Located a short distance from down town New Orleans!
Duration This class lasts between 3-3.5 hours, however, please plan to spend atleast half of the day.
Weather Dependency Fishing proceeds rain or shine, however, should there be extreme weather conditions your scheduled time may be adjusted to accomodate.
What to Wear Please wear comfortable clothes and closed toe shoes as well as weather appropriate outerwear. You will get wet!
Guests Participation is not available for nonpaying guests
Weight Limit None, however, must be fit enough to wade through water and have the ability to swim for safety reasons.
Age Limit We suggest that children are at least 10 years old, and have their own interest in fishing. All minors MUST be accompanied by an adult. Due to the intensity of the course, it is not recommended for younger children.
